The sky is also worth including
Starting from the river bed level
The sun is gone, and so is our hike.
Light and shadow, sunset version
And we have almost finished our descent.
Not much left to go, but the shadows have started returning
Similar to a previous picture, but now with the sun included, which changes the tone significantly
And passing through the interesting formation once more
Back on the path down
This does look like a desert…
The view was worth the hike
Looking back to where we started
… but we're getting there; finally sky!
We still have a way to go!
One has to wonder how this was created
Meeting other hikers; useful for understanding the scale
Yep, this is the right path, not a dead end
Mind your step!
Even more sand; how many millions of years did this take?
Very interesting rock formations; sand upon sand upon sand
Light conquering the shadow
Wait, the sun climbs faster!
Light and shadow, sunrise version
Starting a new day, climbing higher this time
Sun has set, time to head back
Small river, large canyon
Vertical walls, made of basically sand
Emerald pools: found the pool, where's the emerald?
Big rocks and small rocks
Mirror mirror on the ground…
A tiny, almost-invisible waterfall
First look: not bad!
Couldn't have asked for better weather
Loocking back towards the start
Mountain Lake in all its glory
Reaching Little Summit after ~45 minutes of hiking through the forest is awesome!
Sady the camera didn't catch the actual light…
